Yesterday a few of camaro club members, gramdparents and myself went to the Tigard Oregon Festival of Cars car show. Hosted by the Mustang Wranglers of Oregon, this was my first time at the show. It’s held in conjunction with Tigard’s Festival of Ballons where many hot air Ballons are on display. There were some nice cars in attendance and the weather was perfect. Here are some highlights:
Here is all of the group I went with. Consisted of my grandparents in their red 34 Ford Pickup, a friend of theirs in the 59 El Camino, then club members and their Camaros and my 68.
At the end of the day it 5/6 brough home awards. My grandparents took 1st place in pre 60 pickup, the el camino won 1st in custom, the 69 camaro took 2nd in Camaros 60s & 70s, the transformers edition took 1st in Camaros 2010 to present. Surprisingly I somehow won Best of Show with my 68. i was just flat floored because there were a lot of really nice cars there that could have won it. All in all a fun day with cool cars great friends and family!
